Travel Promotion = Thousands of New Jobs

If U.S. overseas arrivals had kept pace with the growth in global overseas travel, America’s economy would have: - Created 340,000 more new jobs in 2007; and
- Seen total unemployment drop to 4.4 percent
Get America Back on Track – Pass the Travel Promotion Act
The Travel Promotion Act (S.1661 / H.R. 3232) establishes a public-private campaign – at no cost to U.S. taxpayers – to promote travel to America and communicate U.S. security and entry policies. The legislation has the support of 244 members of the House of Representatives and 49 Senators.
